While this diagram sheds light on much of the confusion, we recommend seeking the advice of our experts to clarify any uncertainty which may still remain.

Letters classified as non-machinable will be subject to additional fees. The following link provides more detail regarding what may cause a piece to be classified as non-machinable,

*Flats exceed at least one of these minimum values.

Flats which are not flexible, not rectangular, and not uniform in thickness will be subjected to parcel pricing. The US Postal Service goes into much greater detail, attempting to describe what is a flat, if you have any questions trying to determine exactly how your piece will be classified, contact a representative at Badger Press, Inc. and we will be happy to assist you.
